CURRENT PROJECTS

NXT® Residential Western Australia

Western Australia has experienced a surge in new home builds and affordable housing is required to relieve a tight rental market. At a time when labour shortages and increasing build costs are significantly impacting the residential housing industry in Western Australia, NXT’s scalable building solution quickly navigates these issues.

NXT Builds Pty Ltd (the licensed building company assembling these residential homes on site) will deliver quality houses in half the time of a traditional build.

NXT is committed to delivering high quality, accessible, and immediate housing solutions to home buyers. NXT® Residential Western Australia will deliver 100 homes initially and each home will be delivered in under-six months, with the build taking just 10 days to reach lock-up. NXT® Residential houses are built to a NatHERS 7-Star energy rating and use prefabricated, locally-manufactured technologies and suppliers, resulting in a low environmental impact.

The first houses will be located in Ellenbrook, Wellard, Anketell, and Wandi, with more sites to be announced across Western Australia and other states in Australia in due course.

wyndham lux perth hotel

American hospitality giant Wyndham Hotel Group is strengthening its presence in Western Australia, announcing its third Perth hotel and its first in the city under the company’s Wyndham brand.

The Wyndham LUX Perth hotel will sport 120 rooms on the corner of the Great Eastern Highway and Fitzroy Road within 6km of Perth’s CBD. It will be run by Resort Management by Wyndham. “We’re strategically expanding our flagship Wyndham brand in cities like Perth where there is a low supply, but increasing demand, for upscale accommodations,” said Barry Robinson, president and managing director of Wyndham Hotel Group, South East Asia and Pacific Rim.

Wyndham properties already operate in Sydney, Melbourne, the Gold Coast and Torquay, Victoria with the brand also opening in Fiji, Phuket and Bali. Mr Robinson said Wyndham would continue to seek opportunities to grow in Australia and Asia. The Wyndham LUX Perth is being developed by NXT TEC. Ltd. “We are delighted to partner with Wyndham Hotel Group on this project,” said NXT TEC. chair Natasha Di Ciano.

The Wyndham LUX Perth Hotel is the first hotel worldwide and the only built structure in the southern hemisphere to be certified with an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD)

chittering eco-golf resort and luxury estates

Further enhancing the appeal of Chittering, an up-and-coming tourism destination located a short drive north of Perth, Western Australia, the NXT® Building System is being wholly used to develop the deluxe Eco-Golf Resort and Luxury Estates. Surrounded by rolling hills and native bushland, it will deliver limitless luxury that reflects and respects the environment.

In designing the Eco-Golf Resort and Luxury Estates, NXT will utilise and showcase the NXT® Technologies in luxurious guest villas, restaurants, a marine village, professional golf course, gym, spa and indoor and outdoor activity hubs. The Eco-Golf Resort and Luxury Estates will be a community and leisure destination with superior quality design and efficient assembly, with completion expected to take 50 per cent less time than a similar design executed with traditional building methods.

In 2019, the Chittering Eco-Golf Resort and Luxury Estates received Scheme Amendment approval by the Minister for Planning and was subsequently published in the Government Gazette on 25 June 2019. The approved Scheme Amendment enables a tourism project to be developed on the site, while maintaining its conservation nature.

In 2021, the project received Local Structure Plan approval and it is anticipated that subdivision approval will be granted in the next six to eight months at which time, the project will commence civil works for the subdivision and all infrastructure. The project aims to set a benchmark for sustainable developments that deliver world-class building innovation and design, quality and luxury, underpinned by an uncompromising respect for the environment.

NoongarMiaMia

noongar mia mia

NXT is delivering an 11 unit aged care complex for Aboriginal Elders to be built in Western Australia.  Noongar Mia Mia is the only Aboriginal-owned and operated Community Housing Provider in the Perth metropolitan area, and its priority is to secure quality, long-term housing for members of the indigenous community who otherwise may be homeless or at risk of rough sleeping.

The complex will be a showcase for the use of the environmentally sustainable NXT® Technologies in Western Australian community housing projects.

The project has attracted interest from the State Government’s central development agency, which has identified the NXT® Building System for potential applications in other transformative social housing projects throughout the State, after the NXT Group was appointed to the Prequalified Suppliers List for Prefabricated Residential Dwellings State-Wide Panel in May 2022.

Landsdale House

NXT has entered into a contract to design and deliver a three-level residential house with a basement to be located in the northern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia showcasing the NXT® Building System.

The innovative design and engineering of the building allows for a maximised basement space on a 532m² lot, doubling the living area of the home and provides for natural ventilation and light to the underground level.
The residential house features five bedrooms, four bathrooms, a basement, mezzanine floor, theatre room, games room, sunken lounge, cellar, bar, two open plan living spaces and swimming pool.

The home which utilises the NXT®Building System has received development approval and a building licence and is ready for construction. This residential house with a basement is to be constructed significantly faster and more affordably than any current equivalent and opens up a new market for precast residential homes in Australia.
